The Modern Bedouin Tourism and Travel L.L.C. (Modern Bedouin or Company) offers tours, safaris, transportation, and various other activities directly or through its network of suppliers to participants.
Our packages and extra services are correct at the time of publishing and may differ slightly to those featured in the brochure. Occasionally our packages change as we make improvements based on comments from past travelers and our own research.
If we are unable to utilize a service or activity detailed in our itinerary, a suitable alternative will be offered where possible. Itineraries may vary and/or attractions be substituted for any cause including seasonal conditions, weather extremes, natural disasters, and Conservation Reserve requirements.
All pick up and drop off locations and times published are an estimate only and are subject to change at short notice due to external factors such as road works, traffic, adverse weather conditions and mechanical breakdown. Our colleagues will inform you as soon as possible if any trouble happens during reaching the pickup location. Please inform us if any unfortunate event comes up related to your pickup or dropoff location/time/ect.
Participants who join the services provided by the company assume all responsibility and risk associated with such participation. Prior to the trip, guests are required to provide written consent that includes all relevant details related to their participation. Customer agreement will be provided for all the participants at the pickup location which you can read and fill out before starting your tour. For participants under the age of 18, their parents or another adult participant will assume responsibility for them.
Please bear in mind that if you have children who are just a few years old or even younger may not be ready for a desert tour. The activities can be physically and mentally demanding so please act on behalf of your best decision.
Attending Modern Bedouin’s activities from any of our packages and extra services is free until the age of 6. Full adult price is applied for children aged over 6.
Depending on age, children on tour may be required to be seated in booster seats or other child safety accredited seating. Please inform us during your booking ( “Public notes”) or via any of our contact if you need any special equipment for your kid(s).
Pricing is valid for travel commencing until 31 December 2023. Rates are quoted in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams). Prices can be subject to change at the discretion of the Company.
Transactions using debit or credit card on our website are exclusively available to guests who are of legal age (i.e. 18 years or older). Cardholders must maintain records of transaction history and follow merchant policies and rules. Disputes or claims related to this website are subject to the laws of the UAE.
We offer Stripe as a payment option for your purchases made on our website. Stripe is an online payment service provider that allows you to securely process credit card and other payment methods. When you select Stripe as your payment method, you will be redirected to their website to complete the transaction.
Please note that we do not store or have access to any of your payment information, as all transactions are processed through Stripe's secure payment gateway. We encourage you to review Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy before using their services.
By using Stripe as a payment option, you agree to their terms and conditions and authorize us to charge your payment method for the total amount of your purchase. If you encounter any issues with your payment or transaction, please contact Stripe's customer support directly for assistance.

Refunds will be issued solely through the original mode of payment.
We reserve the right to change our accepted payment methods at any time without prior notice.
In the event that weather conditions are not suitable for the basic provision of services (such as heavy raining, windstorm, ect.), Modern Bedouin reserves the right to cancel reservations and suggest alternative dates for their fulfillment, or to refund the amount paid.
Our tours are active and most require a reasonable level of fitness. However, Modern Bedouin will not assume any responsibility to adverse health conditions as guests participate at their own risk.
Our experiences are not recommended for pregnant guests, if guests choose to join during the first and second trimesters we advise they take the necessary preparations and act with caution. Pregnant guests within their third trimester, should inform a company representative. Hot Air Balloon Riding is not recommended for pregnant guests and will only be permitted to fly within the first trimester, pregnant guests in their second and third trimester will not be permitted to fly in a Hot Air Balloon.
Hot Air Balloon guests should be able to safely jump in and out of the balloon basket. Guests can assess their capability to safely jump-in and out, or seek help from our ground personnel, who will be happy to assist if needed.
Modern Bedouin prohibits smoking inside our tour vehicles. The Law of the UAE prohibits the possession of alcohol inside all tourist vehicles and guests discovered carrying alcohol will be required to return to their pick-up point and their own expense and no refund of the tour will be offered.
Eating in the vehicle is strictly prohibited during transportation. Additionally, the use of psychoactive substances during the tour is strictly forbidden, as is carrying dangerous and harmful items such as sharp or cutting tools.
Modern Bedouin has the right to refuse to carry a guest whose behavior is detrimental to the enjoyment of the group. By traveling with Modern Bedouin, you agree to accept the authority of the guide/driver and accept their decisions. Our staff are entitled to a safe working environment and our guests to a great experience. Any threats to safety, being physical or verbal, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the trip. If a guide/driver requires a guest to leave the tour, no refunds will be given and that guest will be responsible for their own travel costs and arrangements from that point.
By participating in any Modern Bedouin trip, tour & activity, you acknowledge that photos, images, or videos may be taken by other participants, Modern Bedouin, or its representatives, which may include you and/or your group of family/friends/etc.
You consent to the use of such images and grant Modern Bedouin, its contractors, sub-contractors, and assigns a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable license to reproduce them for any purpose whatsoever, including marketing, promotions, and the creation of promotional materials by or with sub-licensees, in any medium, presently known or developed in the future, without further obligation or compensation.
Vehicles may be equipped with dashboard cameras that record audio and visual content. Footages may be utilized for legal, insurance and training purposes, and may serve to verify any performance-related questions, inquiries, or concerns.
In accordance with strict drone regulations in the UAE, we do not permit using drones during our trips and activities. Exceptions may be made under special circumstances with prior approval from us and the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
